Preliminary findings from 52 Harmonica structured interviews. Eleven governance problems identified so far, ranked by composite urgency score. Problem descriptions were synthesized using AI-assisted analysis and may contain elaborations beyond what participants explicitly stated — see Methodology for details. The urgency formula weights breadth (how many interviewees raised it) at 60% and depth (average messages discussing it) at 40%. Phase 1 research is ongoing — these rankings may evolve as additional data sources are integrated.

How to read urgency scores

Breadth measures how widespread the problem is across interviews. Depth measures how extensively participants discussed it. A problem with high breadth but low depth (like Voting Fatigue) is widely recognized but well-understood. A problem with lower breadth but high depth (like Over-Reliance on Game Theory) is a specialist concern that deeply engages those who encounter it.
